3 Factors In Successfully Showcasing Your Products

By Brambaly June 29, 2019
If consumers can’t find your products easily on your website, odds are, they may look somewhere else for it. At Brambaly, our award-winning team has put together an easy-to-use product information management system that helps highlight your products and enables customizable search parameters to be created by you and used by your customers in just a few clicks.

While the tools are all there for you to use, it does take a little bit more than just dropping in a sentence and a cell phone picture for each product to generate sales. Below we have put together a few tips that will help you utilize Brambaly’s state-of-the-art product showcase to the fullest!

Relevant Description and Data
Even the simplest of products can lead to customers asking a TON of questions. Questions you might not always have time to get to in a timely manner. This often leads to an upset customer and a misguided purchase. Make sure that you include as much information as you can about each product to help customers make the right purchase, the first time.

As you populate each product’s details, ask yourself these questions. Did you include dimensions? Reason for application? What exactly comes in the package? Are there related items or accessories? Finish, material, brand, model number, warranties; the list goes on. Giving customers as much data as possible to make an informed decision can, and will, go a long way.

Great Product Photos
As alluded to above, if you are a professional trying to sell your products, you need professional-looking photos (and videos) to support them. Cell phone photos are great for customers sharing experiences involving your product on social media, but for your website, you need photographs that put your product in the best light.

  1. Get a close up on the little details that set your product apart from the rest of the competition.
  2. Include multiple angles and have products shot at a variety of distances.
  3. Photograph (or photoshop) your products in the available colors.
  4. Lighting and background can impact how images appear overall; make sure images are color corrected.

Customer Reviews
Last, but not least, include customer reviews on product pages when it makes sense. Often, customers make purchases because of positive reviewa friend or stranger left online. If a customer can eloquently sum up why they bought your product, how they used it, and why, then make sure to source that material! It’s easy for YOU to tell the world how great your products are but having someone else do it is even better. Trying to get more reviews? Send a follow-up questionnaire and ask customers if they’re satisfied with their purchase. Sometimes we don’t want to hear the bad news, but this is an opportunity to correct your process and show your customers you care.
